What is MeetOye (Meet Oye)?

MeetOye — sometimes searched as "Meet Oye" — is an AI-native video meeting platform. It works like Google Meet or Zoom, but ships with Oya, a built-in AI assistant that transcribes, translates and recaps every call automatically, with no bot to invite and nothing to install.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. Anyone can join instantly from the browser on desktop or mobile. A Windows desktop beta is available for power users, and macOS is coming soon.

Is Oya really on by default?

Yes — Oya joins every call automatically to transcribe and, when the call ends, emails a recap with decisions and action items to all attendees. Hosts can disable it per meeting.

Who can see the transcript?

Only people who attended the meeting can access saved transcripts and recordings. Strict E2EE mode, when enabled, disables Oya, transcripts and recording so media keys stay in participant browsers. Standard meetings use encrypted transport.

Can we self-host MeetOye?

Teams can deploy MeetOye on-prem or in your own cloud, keeping all media and transcripts inside your network.

What does true 4K require?

4K · 60fps streams with adaptive bitrate, so calls stay smooth and automatically scale down on constrained networks.
