Terms of Service

MeetOye provides a browser-based video conferencing platform with AI-assisted transcription and meeting recaps ("Oya"), optional cloud recording, scheduling tools, and third-party integrations including Google Drive and Google Calendar.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use MeetOye. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@meetoye.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree not to:

• Use MeetOye for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Record, transcribe, or share meeting content without the consent of all participants.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, other accounts, or infrastructure.
• Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content through the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its underlying systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the service by automated means without prior written permission.
• Resell or sublicence the service without our written consent.

"Your Content" means any audio, video, text, files, or other materials you submit to or create within MeetOye (including meeting recordings and transcripts).

You retain ownership of Your Content. By using the service you grant MeetOye a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate the service. We do not use Your Content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

MeetOye offers optional integrations with Google services (Google Calendar, Google Drive). Your use of those integrations is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We describe exactly what data MeetOye accesses and why in our Privacy Policy.

You may disconnect any Google integration at any time from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting revokes MeetOye's access and deletes your stored credentials from our systems.

MeetOye and its underlying technology, branding, and design are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the MeetOye service without our written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEETOYE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeetOye and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or if required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
