Live translation, explained — everyone speaks their own language

Live translation is MeetOye's main differentiator. Each participant can speak in their own language and understand everyone else in the language they chose — without anyone switching tools or slowing down.

The experience

Say a speaker talks in Urdu: "Hum next week demo complete kar denge." An English participant sees "We will complete the demo next week." An Arabic participant sees the same sentence rendered in Arabic. Everyone keeps their own caption language; the original transcript is always preserved alongside the translation.

Why it stays fast

• Speech-to-text only runs when voice activity is detected, so the AI is not burning cost on silence.
• MeetOye translates only the languages participants actually requested — not every language for every person.
• Each participant receives only their selected caption language over the data channel, keeping bandwidth and latency low.
